Artist Bio

Since studying at Plymouth College of Art, Martha Heggie has aspired to capture biophilia concepts and the use of natural colours within her art practice to improve the wellbeing of her audience, ensuring a calming aura displaying nature throughout her work. She gathers much of her inspiration from the environment around her mostly Cornish coastal scenes, and Landscapes & Woodlands in North Somerset. These pieces embody some of her own experiences which has led her to create artworks with nature, colour and wellbeing at the centre.
